If your child has not geared up for PSLE, it is time to start today. The school year has just started and many students are feeling the same things right now. They are confused, frustrated and scared about the PSLE. They are being introduced to new topics in P6 and they would need to delve into revision mode soon. P6 March Camp is here to help them to strike a balance between learning new concepts and skills while mastering the concepts taught previously.
If your child is determined to succeed in PSLE, the P6 March Camp can provide your child with the tools and guidance necessary to feel less threatened and more at ease with the subjects. Topics are taught in a simplified and direct manner which in the past has proven to help students improve 12-15 marks for their SA1 and has helped children enjoy studying with the help of our PSLE specialists and small group setting.
Students are exposed to different types of questions and which method is suitable to tackle them.
Step-by-step guided examples for better understanding.
Tests will be given out at the end of class for each topic to find out if they can successfully apply what they have learnt for the day.
Improvement and understanding are tracked after every topic is taught.
The feedback session will summarize the strengths and weaknesses of your child in each subject with useful information so that you can decide on your child's curriculum before the PSLE.
Focusing on everything might not be the right course of action hence, let us help you narrow it down to what your child really needs.
5 days of English, 2 hours each
The English language contains strict rules hence a systematic approach to every component is introduced to our students with an in-depth review of questions in order to derive at the perfect answers.
5 days of Mathematics, 2 hours each
In 5 days, we will be recapping all Must-Know problem-solving concepts that will be tested in the PSLE and reinforce the new P6 topics to give students the headstart for the PSLE next year.
5 Days of Science, 2 hours each
The P6 Science Camp during the March Holidays covers revision of major content blocks learned in P5 and P6. Students will attempt related practice questions and daily topical tests. What if my child is not that interested in learning and just want to play? Will he/she get distracted in a group setting?
Usually in the midst of the first lesson, teachers can already identify their learning style and would tweak the lessons according to what the students need to stay engaged.
Will there be homework given? / What kind of materials would my child be getting?
No homework shall be given and your child will be getting booklets which contains questions and notes regarding each topic of the subject.
Do I need to bring food for my child?
Students can bring snacks from home to eat during break time. They can also purchase snacks to fill their tummies from our cafe.
What can we do as parents to be involved in our child's revision?
Our Learning Lodge treasures our relationship with parents as we know that parents play a major role in educating our students. Should there be any concerns, feel free to raise the issues and we will be united in dealing with any complications.
